Coffee and Conversations sessions.
Coffee and Conversations offers a friendly way to explore answers Jesus offers for your big life questions about purpose, ambition, fulfillment, happiness, relationships, or love.
In these sessions, we do our best to share what Jesus and the Bible say for the questions real people like you and me have about faith and life.
We announce each session’s topic beforehand so you can know what is being explored.
You can even request a specific topic (see below).
Here’s what happens
As you arrive, free coffee and light breakfast items help create a comforting atmosphere for an engaging discussion.
We open the session by leading a short discussion about why the question at hand is relevant.
From here, explore anything Jesus and his first followers said about the topic, as recorded in the Bible. As part of this, we explore the contextual history behind the passages.
Along with the discussion, real people will share personal stories about how Jesus helped them during critical moments.
Directed toward an action
Gave wisdom for a decision
Gave words someone else needed
Comforted
Healed a relationship
Rescued or redeemed
Guided into a helpful situation or out of a harmful one
Along the way, you are free (and welcome) to ask any question you like about the Bible passages we explored or the stories.
These conversations go beyond what you could get from a sermon (though they have their place) because you decide where you want them to go, within the day’s topic!
We are vulnerably offering our real lives to you to help you find real answers to your real questions and challenges about life from a real God who really loves you!
